Joyful Bearspaw Golf Course Wedding

Carissa and Bart’s Bearspaw Golf Course wedding was truly unforgettable! Their love for family and friends shone brightly throughout the day, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere.

Carissa and Bart met at their company’s annual golf tournament in Jasper, and their shared love for golf made Bearspaw Golf Club the perfect venue. Before the big day, they hosted a golf tournament for their guests, providing a fun way for everyone to mingle and connect.

They rented a beautiful home in Bearspaw for their rehearsal dinner and as a cozy space for the wedding party to get ready.

The ceremony took place on the 10th tee with the fantastic Solatido duo providing music. It was a sunny day with stunning views of the Rockies. Despite Carissa’s veil not staying in place as she walked down the aisle, she gracefully tossed it over her shoulder and kept smiling. A close friend officiated, adding a heartfelt touch to their vows.

Post-ceremony, they took gorgeous family photos in front of their beautiful arch, thanks to Dana Cole Photography. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed signature cocktails (Blackberry whiskey lemonade and pisco sour) in the courtyard, accompanied by Solatido’s lovely tunes.

Carissa and Bart had a private reception room reveal, giving them a moment to soak in the beauty of their wedding setup. They chose a kings table, allowing them to sit with their wedding party, their significant others, and their parents. After a delicious dinner and heartfelt speeches, they cut into a delightful two-tiered cake from Bake My Day. Following their first dance, they captured stunning sunset photos.

The Brother Bandits kept everyone dancing all night, with Bart surprising Carissa by singing a special song with the band—a truly magical moment.

As a wedding planner, I love Bearspaw Golf Course for its versatile spaces. From private rooms for the wedding party to an outdoor ceremony space, a courtyard and deck for cocktails, and a beautiful banquet room for the reception, it’s a fantastic venue for a memorable wedding.
